This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The NHL's 2026-27 Stanley Cup futures market reflects broad parity across contenders, with Carolina Hurricanes, Colorado Avalanche, and Florida Panthers clustered near the top after the former's 2026 title win and the latter's aggressive offseason additions including Brady Tkachuk. Multiple teams enter with deep rosters, strong regular-season form from the prior campaign, and favorable cap situations that support sustained contention. Recent roster moves, injury recoveries, and draft impacts have narrowed gaps, while the salary cap and playoff unpredictability limit any single club's implied edge. Traders price in realistic upset potential and schedule variance, keeping implied probabilities tightly grouped rather than dominated by one or two clubs.
