Lars Markus Hildingsson leads trader consensus in the market for Region Blekinge’s next regional board chair following the September 13, 2026, local elections. As the Social Democrats’ top-listed candidate and current second vice chair, his positioning reflects the party’s strong regional list and openness to post-election coalitions with multiple parties excluding the Sweden Democrats. The current SD-led arrangement under Björn Tenland Nurhadi, with Moderates and Christian Democrats, faces uncertainty after Moderates signaled willingness to explore alternatives. Hanna Ekblad and other Moderates appear in secondary contention amid coalition talks, while numerous candidates sit near even odds due to unresolved negotiations over regional governance and vote distributions. Election results and upcoming alliance formations remain the primary drivers of implied probabilities.
