Arsenal enter 2026-27 as defending champions after their 2025-26 title win, positioning them as the clear favorite to retain the crown and leaving the runner-up race open among several clubs. Manchester City, finishing second last season under Pep Guardiola before his departure, lead the market at 33% implied probability thanks to squad depth, Erling Haaland’s presence, and a strong early start under Enzo Maresca despite the transitional phase. Chelsea, buoyed by Xabi Alonso’s appointment and an improved preseason outlook following a 10th-place finish, sit at 18% as traders weigh their attacking talent and potential for a top-two push. Manchester United and Liverpool trail at 11.5% and 9.5%, reflecting solid prior campaigns but questions over consistency and squad changes, while Aston Villa and others remain longer shots amid a bunched field where recent form, managerial shifts, and fixture difficulty keep probabilities fluid.
