Barcelona enter the 2026-27 La Liga campaign as clear title favorites following back-to-back championships, including an eight-point margin over Real Madrid in 2025-26. This positioning elevates Real Madrid to the leading implied probability for runner-up, supported by José Mourinho’s return, key additions like Bernardo Silva and Yan Diomande, and early-season results showing competitive form. Barcelona’s reinforcements, including Rodri and Anthony Gordon, reinforce their projected dominance while leaving limited room for other sides. Mid-table clubs such as Celta Vigo, Rayo Vallecano, and Villarreal register as longer shots, reflecting limited evidence of sustained challenges to the top two. Early table trends and squad stability continue to shape trader consensus around these outcomes.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of LaLiga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of LaLiga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the LaLiga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
