This market will resolve according to the total number of valid votes cast in the 2026 midterm election for Senator from New Hampshire. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. All votes certified for candidates or non-candidate options in the specified election are included. Invalidated or blank votes are not included. In ranked-choice or preferential systems, the first-round vote total will be used. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official results of the 2026 midterm election for Senator from New Hampshire, as published by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the election; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The competitive open-seat New Hampshire Senate race between Democratic nominee Chris Pappas and Republican John Sununu, following Jeanne Shaheen’s retirement and easy primary wins on September 8, anchors trader expectations for midrange turnout in the 550K-650K range. Recent University of New Hampshire and Saint Anselm polls showing single-digit margins or statistical ties highlight uncertainty over base mobilization and independent voter participation in this purple state, where unaffiliated voters comprise a large share of the electorate and national Senate control stakes add intensity. Midterm dynamics typically produce lower participation than presidential years, yet strong name recognition on both sides and heavy outside spending— including Republican Senate Leadership Fund commitments—support elevated but variable engagement compared with historical benchmarks. Weather on November 3 or late surges in get-out-the-vote efforts could shift volumes higher or lower within the tightly bunched buckets.
