Current forecasts from models such as GFS indicate overnight lows in the mid-60s for Los Angeles on September 20, driven by a persistent marine layer producing patchy fog and stratus that moderates radiational cooling under light southwest winds. This setup aligns with climatological norms of around 63°F for the date while limiting further drops. Trader sentiment clusters tightly around 66-67°F and 68-69°F outcomes because ensemble guidance shows minor variations in fog duration and wind mixing that could shift the exact minimum by 1–2°F. Upcoming NWS updates and real-time observations near resolution will refine these probabilities as conditions evolve through the night.
