Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and other sources project a high in the low 90s for Houston on September 10 amid scattered afternoon thunderstorms, partly to mostly cloudy skies, and typical Gulf moisture fueling sea-breeze convection. This pattern, consistent with the 1991–2020 average high near 90°F, supports trader consensus around 90–91°F as the leading outcome while allowing modest upside to 92–93°F if storms develop later. Heat indices near 102°F reflect high humidity rather than extreme air temperatures, and resolution hinges on the official daily maximum at primary reporting stations. Recent model runs show limited day-to-day variability, keeping lower bins (below 88°F) improbable absent unexpected widespread cloud cover or earlier rainfall.
