Incumbent Republican Anna Paulina Luna holds a clear edge in the Florida 13th District race, backed by the seat's post-redistricting Republican lean and her established position after two terms. Mid-decade map changes strengthened the district's GOP tilt, with 2024 presidential voting showing a Trump margin exceeding 10 points. Luna advanced unopposed through the Republican primary, while Democrat Leela Gray, a retired Army brigadier general, secured her nomination with 65% in the August primary. A late-August Democratic internal poll showed Gray ahead by 5 points, but broader forecasts and polling averages project Luna winning by 5-7 points. Campaign activity has centered on cost-of-living pressures, insurance rates, and candidate records, with the November 3 general election still weeks away.
