Stephen Curry’s strong public commitment to remaining with the Golden State Warriors, combined with repeated affirmations from team executives including GM Mike Dunleavy and owner Joe Lacob, underpins the market’s 95% implied probability for him staying put. Entering the final year of his current contract at roughly $62.6 million for the 2026-27 season, the 38-year-old became eligible for a two-year maximum extension worth up to $136.7 million on August 29 and has repeatedly stated his desire to finish his career in Golden State. No credible trade requests or serious external interest have emerged, and recent speculation has been dismissed as clickbait. While an injury, sharp decline in performance, or unexpected request to be moved could theoretically open the door to another destination ahead of 2027 free agency, current roster continuity and mutual interest make a departure highly improbable.
