**Max Verstappen completed the Red Bull-organized Max vs 100 karting challenge at Silverstone on September 16, 2026, overtaking all 100 amateur competitors in just 14 laps and 35 minutes.** Starting from 101st on a specially adapted circuit designed for the large field, the four-time F1 champion benefited from a chaotic opening lap that eliminated over 60 drivers through incidents, allowing rapid progress. His lap times were more than 2.5 seconds quicker than the leaders, supported by superior karting experience from his junior career. The remaining frontrunners—primarily content creators, journalists, and Red Bull staff—received one “fast lap” shortcut each before the halfway point, but this proved insufficient against Verstappen’s pace. With 40 minutes and 16 laps remaining on the 30-lap/75-minute limit, the market-implied probability of success reflected strong trader consensus on his dominance over a non-professional field. No further developments are expected as the event has concluded.

Caedrel beats Verstappen
1%
For the purposes of this market, Caedrel beats Max Verstappen if Caedrel is classified ahead of Verstappen in the event's official final results. If no full final classification is published within 48 hours of the completion of the event, this market will instead resolve to "Yes" if Verstappen has not overtaken (passed) Caedrel by the end of the event, per the official broadcast or the event organizers' official ruling; if both an official final classification and a broadcast determination are available and conflict, the official final classification will govern. If Verstappen retires or otherwise fails to finish while Caedrel remains in the event without having been overtaken by Verstappen, this market will resolve to "Yes". If Caedrel crashes out, retires, is eliminated, or otherwise fails to finish having been overtaken by or behind Verstappen at that point, this market will resolve to "No". If Caedrel does not take part in the event, this market will resolve to "No".
If the event is postponed, this market will remain open until it is completed. If the event is canceled entirely with no make-up, this market will resolve 50-50.
The primary resolution source for this market will be the official live broadcast of the event and official results or announcements from the event organizers (Red Bull, Disney+ and ESPN); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
