Manchester City’s perfect five-win start has them atop the 2026-27 Premier League table on 15 points, three clear of Arsenal, with Brighton’s +11 goal difference and Brentford’s unbeaten run keeping both inside the projected top four. Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United sit mid-table after inconsistent early results, while promoted sides and mid-table clubs like Leeds and Newcastle show signs of challenging for European spots. Qualification for the 2027-28 Champions League hinges on the final top-four (or five, if England earns an extra coefficient place) finish after 38 matches, with squad depth, European fixture congestion, injury recoveries during the international break and managerial adjustments all set to shape the race over the coming months.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Premier League standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Premier League season is cancelled or postponed past May 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
