Japan leads the AFC Asian Cup 2027 winner market at 69% implied probability, reflecting its status as Asia’s most consistent performer with four prior titles, deep squad talent developed through the J-League and European clubs, and strong recent qualification results. Saudi Arabia at 32.5% benefits from hosting duties in January-February 2027, which historically provides a measurable edge for Arabian Peninsula sides, alongside its three past championships. South Korea at 25.5% draws support from its long record of reaching later stages and solid FIFA ranking. The May 2026 final draw created challenging groups for several contenders, including Japan’s matchup with defending champion Qatar, while full qualification concluded with Yemen’s late entry, underscoring the 24-team field’s competitive balance ahead of the expanded tournament.
