The 2026 Veolia Arizona Open men's singles draw on the PPA Tour remains highly competitive due to a new World Pickleball Ranking-based seeding system that grants double byes to select players while forcing top seeds like Chris Haworth into earlier rounds. Federico Staksrud holds strong implied probability as the #2 seed with proven singles results, but faces a loaded bracket alongside Hunter Johnson, Christian Alshon, and Ben Johns, who enters as a lower seed yet brings elite experience. Multiple top players opted out or focused on doubles, flattening the field and creating favorable paths for several contenders. Recent form, including Johnson's back-to-back title push after the National Championships, adds uncertainty, with the wisdom of crowds reflected in bunched pricing across established pros capable of advancing deep in any given match.
