The early 2026-27 Saudi Pro League campaign shows tight defensive parity across the 18-team field after seven matchdays, with Al-Hilal posting the most clean sheets at four while several sides including Al-Ahli, Al-Ettifaq, Neom, and Al-Taawoun sit on three. Al-Hilal’s backline, anchored by experienced options like Yassine Bounou, has conceded just five goals league-wide, but Al-Ittihad (six conceded), Al-Nassr (seven), and Al-Qadsiah (eight) remain within striking distance on the table. Multiple clubs invested heavily in goalkeepers and defensive reinforcements during the summer window, and the compressed schedule plus international breaks create rotation risks that can erode early advantages. With over 25 rounds remaining, no side has established a commanding lead in clean-sheet accumulation, leaving trader consensus evenly distributed across the listed contenders.
