Emeka Egbuka enters his 2026 season as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' clear top wide receiver following Mike Evans' departure, building on a 2025 rookie campaign of 63 receptions, 938 yards, and six touchdowns. He handled a full workload in Week 1 at Cincinnati despite a preseason toe sprain, posting five catches for 63 yards with no scores in a game where Baker Mayfield faced pressure. Egbuka's early target volume and yards-after-catch ability position him for consistent red-zone opportunities across a 17-game schedule, though the Buccaneers' offensive line and passing-game efficiency will influence scoring chances. Week 2 against Cleveland offers a favorable next test for his role in the aerial attack.
