The host nation brings historical pedigree and home advantage yet faces opponents with proven regional pedigree, including Kuwait’s 1980 title and recent qualification form, Oman’s consistent push for knockout-stage progress, and Palestine’s momentum from reaching the Round of 16 in 2023. With the tournament still months away, variables such as current squad depth, FIFA ranking fluctuations, and head-to-head trends in AFC qualifiers keep each team’s path to topping the group viable, as reflected in the clustered trader consensus around the 25–30% range for these four outcomes.
