Jalen Hurts enters the 2026 NFL season with a new offensive coordinator in Sean Mannion, whose Shanahan/McVay-influenced scheme emphasizes wider zone concepts, pre-snap motion, and more under-center work for the Eagles quarterback. Through three games, Hurts has thrown for 620 yards and five touchdowns with three interceptions on 56-of-87 passing, showing early red-zone efficiency before a Week 3 shutout against Chicago that included a brief concussion evaluation. His dual-threat profile and supporting cast of Saquon Barkley plus the offensive line remain constants, though the offense has posted modest passing volume and efficiency early. The upcoming schedule features a mix of NFC East and West opponents that could influence passing opportunities as the unit adapts to the revamped playbook.
