Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" leads CMA Song of the Year trader sentiment at 76.5% implied probability, fueled by its record-breaking 2026 chart run—including multiple weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs—and its prior ACM Song of the Year win. The track's co-writers, including Miranda Lambert, and its status as the summer's dominant country single have created strong momentum heading into the November 18 ceremony. Other nominees like "Be Her" (also Langley) and "Gary" (Stephen Wilson Jr.) trail significantly, reflecting Langley's nine total CMA nods and the song's commercial edge over competitors such as Megan Moroney's "Beautiful Things" and Kacey Musgraves' "Dry Spell." Late voter shifts remain possible given the category's songwriter focus.
