Sassuolo leads the runner-up market at 44% implied probability as the recently promoted side returns to Serie A with strong momentum after dominating Serie B last season. Their experienced core, including Domenico Berardi, has delivered a competitive start with one win, one draw and one loss through the opening three matchweeks, keeping them in mid-table contention while Inter Milan sit among the early leaders as title favorites. The rest of the field clusters around 25.5%, reflecting an open battle for second place behind the Nerazzurri among Roma, Juventus, AC Milan, Como and others whose pre-season expectations have yet to translate into clear separation after the first fixtures. Trader consensus appears driven by Sassuolo’s squad continuity and promotion pedigree rather than established top-four pedigree.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Serie A for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Serie A (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Serie A; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
