Florida and Duke lead the 2027 national title market as co-favorites with the strongest implied probabilities, driven by elite frontcourt retention and portal additions that position both programs as preseason frontrunners. Florida returns its championship-caliber core of Thomas Haugh, Alex Condon, and Rueben Chinyelu alongside guard depth, while Duke blends experienced returnees like Patrick Ngongba and Caleb Foster with high-impact transfers such as John Blackwell and a top recruiting class under Jon Scheyer. The tight clustering of odds reflects widespread roster reloading across contenders including Illinois, UConn, and Michigan State, where transfer portal activity, fifth-year eligibility rulings, and coaching continuity have kept multiple teams in realistic contention for the title.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2027 tournament (e.g., they are eliminated or fail to qualify), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If the 2027 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament is cancelled, postponed after April 19, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no champion declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official information from the NCAA (https://www.ncaa.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
