This market will resolve to “Yes” if the Investing.com high price (“H”) for any GBP/USD hourly candle for an hour on or before the listed end date (ET) is equal to or above the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Data for a given candle will be considered finalized once the next candle appears on the specified graph. The last trading day of a given week will be considered finalized once the market closes on that day, typically at 5 PM ET on Friday. A candle starting at 11:00 PM ET on a given date will be considered to be on that date. This market’s resolution will be based solely on information from the “H” figure located at the top of the GBP/USD Streaming Chart on Investing.com for the specified currency pair (https://www.investing.com/currencies/gbp-usd-chart).This market will resolve to “Yes” if the Investing.com low price (“L”) for any GBP/USD hourly candle for an hour on or before the listed end date (ET) is equal to or below the listed price. Stronger-than-expected U.S. August payrolls and producer prices have lifted market-implied odds of a Fed rate hike at the September 16 meeting to around 70 percent, supporting the dollar via higher Treasury yields, while the BoE is widely expected to hold Bank Rate at 3.75 percent on September 17 amid volatile energy prices from Middle East tensions and mixed UK growth signals. Recent UK GDP outperformance has tempered downside risks for sterling, yet elevated gilt yields near 5.4 percent highlight borrowing-cost pressures that could limit rate-driven gains. Traders are monitoring the upcoming inflation releases and central-bank dot plots for shifts in the implied rate path, with historical precedents showing that sustained yield differentials often dictate year-end currency ranges.
