The Philadelphia Eagles hold a narrow edge in roster talent and recent NFC East dominance, yet the 58.5% implied probability on a season series tie reflects expectations of a split after their 24-22 Week 1 home win over the Commanders. Both clubs debuted new offensive coordinators and schemes in that contest, producing uneven performances and late drama that underscored the matchup’s unpredictability. The rematch in Week 8 at Northwest Stadium gives Washington home-field advantage and primetime motivation behind Jayden Daniels, while Philadelphia’s defensive front and Jalen Hurts-led attack remain formidable on the road. Divisional history of tight results and roster turnover on both sides further support trader consensus around a 1-1 outcome over an outright Eagles sweep.
