This market will resolve to "Yes" if a red flag is shown at any point during the 2026 F1 Spanish Grand Prix, scheduled for Sep 13, 2026. The market will resolve to "No" if the race is completed without any red flag periods. If the 2026 F1 Spanish Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Sep 20, 2026, this market will resolve 50-50. A red flag shown during practice sessions, qualifying sessions, or any other session besides the main race does not count for this market. The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting. The 2026 Spanish Grand Prix at Madrid’s new Madring circuit ran without a red flag, as confirmed by the absence of any full-course stoppage across 57 laps despite an early virtual safety car triggered by Lance Stroll’s brake failure. Modern track design, extensive runoff areas, and rapid marshaling kept incidents contained after practice-session red flags from crashes involving Arvid Lindblad and Lewis Hamilton. The race stayed green from lap 15 onward, with no multi-car collisions, severe weather, or mechanical failures severe enough to halt proceedings. Trader consensus at near-certainty for “no” reflects this clean outcome on a layout built for high safety margins. Extreme scenarios such as a major shunt or sudden downpour could still force a red flag in similar events, though none materialized here.
