Salomón Rondón’s early Apertura 2026 surge with double-digit goals for Pachuca has created separation in the short term, yet the broader 2026-27 Liga MX top goalscorer market remains tightly bunched because a deep pool of established forwards enters the campaign with comparable recent tallies and supporting casts. João Pedro’s prior league-leading output, consistent production from players such as Juninho, Juan Brunetta, Paulinho, and Armando González, plus emerging options like Gilberto Mora and Lucas Ocampos, reflect balanced attacking setups across clubs. Early-season integration of new signings, rotation demands, and the two-tournament structure keep implied probabilities clustered, as no single striker has yet demonstrated sustained dominance over the full campaign.

Only goals scored in Liga MX matches will count. Goals scored in other competitions (e.g., Campeon de Campeones, CONCACAF Champions Cup, Leagues Cup, international matches) will not count for this market.
Goals scored during the Apertura, Clausura and Liguilla will all count toward this market's resolution.
If multiple players tie for the top goal scorer, this market will resolve to the tied player who scores fewer goals from penalty kicks during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with the higher xG during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 Liga MX season is canceled or not completed by June 27, 2027, the market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Liga MX. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
