Australia and Iraq stand out in Group D as former Asian Cup winners with strong recent form and 2026 World Cup qualification, yet trader consensus keeps their implied probabilities tightly bunched with Singapore and Tajikistan due to the group's balanced matchups and limited head-to-head data. Australia faces Singapore, Iraq, and Tajikistan in January 2027, while Iraq benefits from experienced coaching and regional depth. Singapore's historic qualification and Tajikistan's 2023 quarterfinal run add realistic upset potential, with all sides preparing through upcoming friendlies and domestic campaigns that could shift momentum before the tournament opens.
