Alexander Zverev captured the 2026 US Open men's singles title with a straight-sets victory over Ben Shelton in the final, completing a dominant hard-court fortnight after earlier five-set escapes. The German's 2026 campaign, highlighted by his French Open triumph and consistent deep runs across majors, positioned him as the clear leader entering Flushing Meadows, where he dropped just one set after the round of 16. Trader consensus at 100% reflects the completed outcome and Zverev's superior form, experience in major finals, and ability to handle pressure against a partisan crowd. Casper Ruud held negligible implied probability as he did not advance far. Late injuries, weather delays, or unexpected upsets remain the only theoretical variables that could have shifted results in an unresolved event.
