Kyle Pitts enters the 2026 season coming off a career-best 2025 campaign of 88 receptions for 928 yards and five touchdowns on 118 targets. New head coach Kevin Stefanski’s offense has historically funneled heavy targets to tight ends, and Pitts signed a three-year, $54 million extension in June that locks him in as a featured option behind Drake London and alongside Bijan Robinson. His versatility in-line and flexed out creates consistent mismatch opportunities. Early uncertainty at quarterback—with Tua Tagovailoa sidelined by an oblique injury and Cooper Rush starting Week 1—could limit initial passing volume, though Pitts showed strong preseason chemistry with Tagovailoa and has no current injury concerns.
