A US-Denmark-Greenland security agreement on expanded American military access, basing rights, and restrictions on non-NATO adversaries was announced September 18, 2026, yet the full official text remains unreleased. Danish and Greenlandic leaders have confirmed the pact preserves sovereignty and self-determination while requiring parliamentary approval before entry into force. Signing is scheduled for the upcoming UN General Assembly session in New York, with statements indicating the document will be finalized and presented in that window. Trader positioning reflects the compressed timeline between announcement and expected public release or formal signing, alongside uncertainty over whether parliamentary review or bilateral finalization will precede disclosure of the complete terms.
