Anna Leigh Waters continues to dominate women's professional pickleball as the top-ranked player in the new World Pickleball Rankings system, which weights gender doubles at 50%, mixed doubles at 35%, and singles at 15% based on the prior 52 weeks of PPA results. Her consistent title wins, often alongside Anna Bright in women's doubles, have widened the gap at the top, while younger players like Jorja Johnson and Tyra Black have climbed rankings through improved defense, power, and mixed results in 2026. Other contenders including Catherine Parenteau, Parris Todd, and Rachel Rohrabacher maintain strong showings but face challenges from shifting partnerships and the need for points across disciplines. Qualification for the May 2027 PPA Tour Finals in San Clemente hinges on season-long race standings, with the top eight advancing to compete in singles, doubles, and mixed formats, where recent form, injury management, and schedule density will shape final field positioning.

The 2027 PPA Tour Finals is an invitational, season-ending event: players and teams qualify by their Race to the Finals ranking and are drawn into pools, with the top finishers in each pool advancing to the semifinals. A player who does not qualify for the 2027 PPA Tour Finals will resolve to "No".
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed player to reach the Final of the 2027 PPA Tour Finals (e.g. they fail to qualify, are eliminated, withdraw, or are disqualified), the associated market will resolve to "No".
If the 2027 PPA Tour Finals is cancelled, postponed after May 10, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the players that reached the Final have not been officially confirmed by the Professional Pickleball Association within that timeframe, this market will resolve 50-50.
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Professional Pickleball Association (https://ppatour.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
