**The 2026 K League 2 runner-up race remains highly competitive, with a cluster of mid-table sides separated by narrow margins in the standings as of mid-September.** Daegu FC sits second on 46 points from 25 matches, closely followed by Suwon FC and Seoul E-Land on 45 points each, Hwaseong FC on 43, and Busan IPark on 41, while several others trail within reach. Recent results, including draws and narrow wins among these clubs, have prevented any single contender from pulling clear, and the remaining 8–10 fixtures per team—featuring a mix of home/away splits and direct matchups—continue to shape implied probabilities. Suwon Samsung Bluewings’ dominant lead at the top has shifted focus squarely onto this tight battle for second, where goal difference, form streaks, and head-to-head results could still swing positioning before the November finale. Lower-placed sides like Cheonan City and Jeonnam Dragons show negligible market support, consistent with their current deficits.
