Tyler Warren enters his second NFL season as the Indianapolis Colts’ primary pass-catching option at tight end following Michael Pittman Jr.’s offseason trade to Pittsburgh. The 2025 first-rounder posted 76 receptions for 817 yards and four touchdowns on 112 targets as a rookie while earning Pro Bowl honors, though production dipped late with quarterback Daniel Jones sidelined by an Achilles injury. Jones is expected to return healthy for Week 1, supporting Warren’s continued high target share in Shane Steichen’s scheme. A minor groin issue from training camp has cleared, leaving Warren fully available for the opener against Baltimore. His red-zone usage and route-running refinements will largely determine whether he surpasses his rookie touchdown total over the 17-game schedule.
