Justin Jefferson enters the 2026 NFL season as the Minnesota Vikings’ clear top wide receiver following a 2025 campaign limited to 84 receptions amid inconsistent quarterback play. With Kyler Murray installed as the starter after offseason roster moves, training camp reports highlight improving timing and chemistry, including multiple highlight-reel connections that position Jefferson for elevated target volume. Projections from analysts cluster around 100–113 receptions, reflecting his established route-running dominance, high air-yard share, and history of 100-plus catch seasons when supported by competent passing. The Vikings’ restructured contract keeps him under team control through 2028, while his health and motivation for a bounce-back year support sustained usage across the 17-game slate, though offensive line stability and red-zone opportunities remain variables.
