Cristopher Sánchez and Sonny Gray both sit atop the MLB wins leaderboard with 17 victories apiece through mid-September 2026, fueling trader consensus that the race remains tightly contested. Sánchez has logged more innings with a 2.79 ERA for the playoff-contending Phillies, while Gray maintains a 2.76 ERA across fewer starts for the Red Sox amid a strong second-half push. Several pitchers trail at 13–15 wins, including Chase Burns, Eduardo Rodriguez, and Braxton Ashcraft, but late-season rotations, team offensive support, and bullpen reliability will determine final totals. The bunched probabilities reflect the narrow margins typical in win totals, where a few additional decisions or bullpen collapses can shift the outcome in the final weeks.
