The tightly bunched pricing for the 2026 Liga 1 runner-up reflects the split Apertura-Clausura format and aggregate table that will shape final standings and playoff qualification. Alianza Lima leads the overall table after a dominant Apertura but sits mid-pack in the Clausura following recent draws, while Universitario and Deportivo Garcilaso post stronger Clausura results. Sporting Cristal, FBC Melgar, and Cusco FC remain within striking distance through consistent points hauls and favorable remaining schedules. The upcoming clásico between Alianza Lima and Universitario could shift momentum for the top contenders, with multiple clubs holding realistic paths to second place amid ongoing roster stability and home/away splits.
