Recent polling in competitive House districts shows Democrats opening a substantial lead among Latino voters on the generic congressional ballot, with margins doubling or more compared to 2024 self-reported preferences. This shift stems from declining approval for the Trump administration on economic issues such as prices and cost of living, alongside immigration enforcement actions, prompting some 2024 Republican supporters to move toward Democratic candidates. Among Latino men specifically, surveys indicate Democratic advantages on the midterm ballot, consistent with broader erosion of prior Republican gains in this demographic. Trader consensus on a Democratic edge for Latino men aligns with these patterns across multiple battleground states, where economic pressures have emerged as the dominant voter concern ahead of November.
