Terry McLaurin enters the 2026 NFL season as the Washington Commanders' primary wide receiver after a 2025 campaign limited to 10 games and three receiving touchdowns by a quad injury and contract uncertainty. Now fully healthy following a three-year extension, the 31-year-old benefits from quarterback Jayden Daniels' return and a new offensive scheme under coordinator David Blough that emphasizes play-action, balance, and under-center work to protect the QB. Competition for targets has increased with the addition of Stefon Diggs, while depth options like Antonio Williams and Dyami Brown round out the group. McLaurin's proven red-zone reliability and route-running consistency position him for a rebound in touchdowns, though his age and the offense's run emphasis remain variables in a 17-game schedule.
