The 49ers’ commanding 27-7 Week 1 victory in Australia gives them the early series lead, yet both clubs enter their late-season rematch hobbled by injuries that complicate projections. Los Angeles placed standout edge rusher Myles Garrett on IR after a knee issue and lists star receiver Puka Nacua as questionable with a hip/groin concern, while San Francisco has lost multiple wideouts, including De’Zhaun Stribling and Demarcus Robinson, to season- or multi-week absences. These roster setbacks, combined with the Rams’ upgraded secondary and pass-rush additions earlier in the offseason and the 49ers’ proven run-game identity under Kyle Shanahan, keep the second matchup viewed as competitive. The resulting uncertainty around health and momentum sustains tight market pricing between a 49ers sweep and a 1-1 split.
