The Philadelphia Eagles enter the 2026 season with a talent edge at quarterback, running back, offensive line, and defense despite major offensive adjustments following the A.J. Brown trade, new coordinator Sean Mannion, and the departure of longtime line coach Jeff Stoutland. Early injuries, including left guard Landon Dickerson landing on injured reserve and Saquon Barkley’s Week 2 issue, introduce uncertainty for their ground game and protection schemes. The New York Giants, under first-year head coach John Harbaugh, opened with a win over Dallas behind young quarterback Jaxson Dart and wide receiver Malik Nabers (recovering from ACL surgery), signaling improved culture and competitiveness in the NFC East. Their two late-season matchups—one at Philadelphia in Week 9 and the finale in New York—favor a split outcome given divisional intensity, roster turnover on both sides, and the Giants’ home advantage in the rematch. Trader pricing reflects the Eagles’ overall roster superiority tempered by these variables and the realistic potential for each team to claim one victory.
