**The 2026 NFL season features a wide-open race for the best regular-season record, reflected in "Other" leading at 50% while no individual team exceeds the Seahawks' 40.5% implied probability.** Defending Super Bowl champions Seattle enter with an elite defense under Mike Macdonald and a Week 1 win over the Patriots, though they lost key contributors like Kenneth Walker III in free agency. The Los Angeles Rams sit among the top individual contenders after an aggressive offseason adding Myles Garrett and Trent McDuffie alongside Aaron Donald's return, creating "superteam" expectations in power rankings and win projections near 11-12 victories. Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, and several AFC teams like the Bills and Ravens cluster near 36% on the strength of defensive continuity, young quarterback play, and favorable early schedules, while preseason analyses and current standings underscore league parity with multiple clubs projected for double-digit wins. Early results and roster health will continue shaping trader consensus around these frontrunners.
