The 2026 NFL regular season opens with trader focus on established volume passers like Jared Goff, Joe Burrow, Matthew Stafford, and Dak Prescott, whose supporting casts, offensive schemes, and red-zone usage historically support 30-plus touchdown campaigns. Recent roster continuity, new coordinator adjustments, and preseason health reports for key wideouts and tight ends have shaped early implied probabilities, while younger starters such as Caleb Williams and Drake Maye carry upside tied to improved supporting talent and schedule strength. Week 1 results, official injury designations, and early passing-volume trends will drive near-term shifts, as will weather, travel, and divisional matchups that influence game scripts and scoring opportunities across the 17-game slate.
