The 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship remains tightly contested entering the seven-race playoffs, with Layne Riggs holding a narrow three-point lead over Kaden Honeycutt after 19 events. Riggs leads with six wins and strong consistency in top-10 finishes, while Honeycutt counters with the most top-10 results and recent victories at Watkins Glen and Richmond. Chandler Smith sits third with two wins and a strong regular-season close, ahead of Ty Majeski and Giovanni Ruggiero in the Chase field. The bunched points reflect multiple drivers with proven speed across ovals and road courses, recent playoff momentum shifts at Bristol, and the format's emphasis on final-stage performance, keeping implied probabilities clustered among the top contenders.
