The Boston Red Sox's 15-game winning streak from early July remains the longest of the 2026 MLB regular season by a wide margin, establishing their dominant market position. That run, which tied a franchise record last set in 1946, featured consistent pitching depth and timely offense that propelled Boston from well below .500 into playoff contention. Subsequent streaks across the league, including multiple nine-game runs by teams such as the Cubs, Phillies, Rays, and Royals, plus an eight-game surge by the Dodgers, have fallen short. With roughly two weeks remaining, the calendar offers limited opportunity for any club to surpass the mark, though a late surge by a contender could theoretically alter the outcome if it extends well beyond current trends.
