In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Bobby Witt Jr. leads the AL Platinum Glove market at 51% implied probability due to his elite shortstop defense for the Royals, featuring superior range, arm strength, outs above average metrics, and minimal errors across high innings volume in 2026. As the 2025 defending champion, his consistent highlight-reel plays and positional impact have shaped trader consensus ahead of specialized standouts. Ceddanne Rafaela trails at 7.5% with strong center-field range and defensive runs saved for Boston, while Dillon Dingler at 7% and outfielders like Wilyer Abreu at 5% post elite position-specific DRS totals. Recent September developments, including ongoing Statcast and Fielding Bible data, have reinforced Witt’s edge in overall defensive volume and recognition over catchers and corner options.
