The Los Angeles Dodgers' 10-game lead over the San Diego Padres and 11.5-game cushion over the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NL West standings has cemented trader consensus around their 98.4% implied probability of claiming the division. Their 90-58 record features one of MLB's best run differentials and a rotation anchored by aces like Yoshinobu Yamamoto and supporting depth, while the offense sustains production despite occasional rest days for stars such as Shohei Ohtani. The Padres and Diamondbacks, meanwhile, sit in the wild-card mix with records of 80-68 and 79-70, limiting any realistic division push in the final weeks. Only a cluster of key injuries or an unprecedented late collapse could reopen the race at this stage.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 National League West division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
