Paper Rex’s current Valorant starting five—d4v41, f0rsakeN, something, Jinggg, and invy—faces major roster uncertainty heading into 2027. Four players hold contracts expiring at the end of 2026, leaving only invy secured long-term, while the organization posted after a 7-8th-place finish at VCT Champions Shanghai that it was closing one chapter. The team’s late-season form included a joint last-place result at EWC 2026, a 5th-6th showing in Pacific Stage 2, and repeated grand-final losses that prompted coach alecks to cite a fear-of-losing mindset requiring offseason mental work. Traders view these contract cliffs and performance trends as strong signals that at least one core member will depart or fail to re-sign, driving the elevated probability against a fully intact lineup.
