The timing of the podium ceremony does not determine the result for this market — only the FIA's published classification will be used to resolve this market. If the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is permanently canceled, this market will resolve 50-50.**Kimi Antonelli enters the Baku weekend as the clear drivers’ championship leader with an 81-point cushion after consecutive victories in Monza and Madrid, positioning Mercedes teammates Antonelli and George Russell as the primary favorites for podium contention.** The street circuit’s long straights reward strong straight-line speed and slipstream overtaking, while the tight, wall-lined sectors increase crash and safety-car risk, historically producing multiple different winners. McLaren’s recent street-circuit form gives Lando Norris realistic podium upside, with Ferrari and Red Bull also in the mix depending on setup balance between downforce and drag. Qualifying on Friday sets the grid for Saturday’s 51-lap race, making single-lap pace and clean sessions decisive for the top three. Recent schedule adjustments place the Grand Prix on Saturday to avoid a national holiday clash.
