This market will resolve to "Yes" if Drake officially releases a new album between market creation and the specified date, 11:59 PM PT (Los Angeles time). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Officially released means that a newly released album is officially available for download or streaming (not including live events) by the resolution date. Re-releases, deluxe editions, compilations, or greatest hits albums will not count, unless they contain at least 50% tracks that have never been officially released in any format prior to the album's release. The resolution source will be any official music streaming or download site, e.g. Apple Music or Spotify.Drake’s recent three-album drop in May 2026—*Iceman*, *Habibti*, and *Maid of Honour*—which made history by occupying the top three Billboard 200 spots simultaneously, continues to shape expectations for his next full-length project. Traders are watching how his pattern of surprise and self-funded releases plays out after the September 15 premiere of the “not so short film” *Fear of Missing Out*, a visual project scored by family members that fueled album speculation but delivered no new studio album. Industry dynamics favor flexible rollout timing for an artist with OVO’s resources and strong streaming metrics, though the absence of confirmed new music since May keeps momentum fluid. Key upcoming signals include any post-film announcements, streaming data updates, or chart performance of existing material that could clarify the window for a follow-up.
