The 2026-27 Romanian SuperLiga season opened in mid-July with several promoted sides from Liga II, including Sepsi OSK and Corvinul Hunedoara, joining a competitive field. Early standings highlight Csíkszereda Miercurea Ciuc at the foot of the table after a winless start and heavy defeats, while Voluntari, Oțelul Galați, and Argeș Pitești occupy the lower positions amid inconsistent results. Key factors shaping trader views include squad depth, managerial stability, and the typical late-season form of mid-table sides, with relegation usually decided by narrow margins in the play-out group. Recent results and upcoming fixtures against stronger opponents like Rapid București or Universitatea Craiova will clarify the initial relegation picture.
