This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the most interceptions thrown. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 1 of the 2026-27 regular season count. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with a higher interception percentage (interceptions thrown divided by pass attempts) in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with fewer passing touchdowns in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games. If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in interceptions thrown within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The bunched probabilities around 50% for dozens of quarterbacks in the 2026 NFL Week 1 interceptions thrown leader market reflect the inherent unpredictability of turnovers in season-opening matchups. With no recent regular-season form to separate candidates, traders weigh factors like new offensive schemes, uncertain offensive line protections, and opposing defenses that rank among the league’s stingiest against the pass. Veterans such as Deshaun Watson, Malik Willis, and Kirk Cousins face immediate tests in unfamiliar or high-pressure environments, while established starters like Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, and Cam Ward navigate adjusted supporting casts and potential early rust. Historical Week 1 data shows elevated interception rates league-wide due to aggressive defenses and limited preparation, keeping the field wide open across the Wednesday-to-Monday slate.
