Stephen Curry’s long-standing commitment to the Golden State Warriors, reinforced by his own recent public statements and comments from general manager Mike Dunleavy, anchors the overwhelming trader consensus at 95% for him remaining in place. Entering the final year of his current max deal and now eligible for a two-year, $136.7 million extension, the 38-year-old two-time MVP has repeatedly affirmed his intent to finish his career in one jersey after 18 seasons with the franchise. Minimal credible trade speculation or free-agency interest from other clubs, including the Celtics or 76ers, further supports this positioning. Realistic challenges remain limited but include a disappointing 2026-27 campaign prompting Curry to test free agency for roster upgrades or to leverage cap flexibility for the Warriors themselves.
